iPhoneDevCamp Satellite Events

Understanding that we might not be able to accommodate everyone in the San Francisco location, we’ve started conversations with folks about Satellite events.  The BarCamp Colorado folks, Joe Pezzillo and Dan Newman, have already volunteered to host a concurrent event in the Denver / Boulder area (thanks, guys!).  Also, some friends at Adobe Seattle have expressed interest in hosting an iPhoneDevCamp event there as well during our weekend.  We will be working to connect the Satellite sites as closely as possible so that everyone can participate in moments like the Keynote and the Hack-a-Thon.

You are welcome hold a BarCamp-style event, concurrent with ours.  Our only request is that you contact us to go over publication guidelines, sponsorship details, and to ensure that your event conforms to the Apple NDA for developers.  Please see our Satellites page for more details going forward.

Registration is Open

The Organizers are working hard to ensure that everyone who wants to attend and participate during iPhoneDevCamp has space and the resources they need during the weekend. We are anticipating a greater level of interest this year than last year, however. Due to space limitations, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who wants to attend. If you’re interested in participating in iPhoneDevCamp, please fill out the registration form.

Completion of this form does not guarantee attendance. Attendees will be announced in July, pending the level of response we get, and available space. If you need to make travel arrangements before July, please contact the team and we’ll start a conversation.

iPhoneDevCamp 2 at Adobe San Francisco

Adobe San Francisco I’m excited to announce that Adobe Systems has volunteered their San Francisco office for iPhoneDevCamp again this year! With respect to the Open Screen Project, this event fits perfectly into Adobe’s mission to embrace the diversity of devices.

We’ll have access to the spacious Town Hall, plenty of free WiFi, conference rooms, and the theatre room for our presentations and breakout sessions.  We’ll make sure that the usual visitor’s NDA is suspended so we can have a truly open event Friday through Sunday, August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

As Adobe’s resident iPhone aficionado, I’ll once again be your host.  Please comment with any questions and I’ll follow up with our staff.

We look forward to having you over!
